Joe Greene is a member of the Cayuga First Nations Wolf Clan. He was born in 1983 and learned to carve at an early age by watching his father and grandfather.
He considers himself a contemporary Native artist and his pieces depict native motif relating to the land, sea, sky, and his heritage. Joe carves in soapstone and/or antlers and is known to finish his pieces with a walnut dye that he creates.
