This contemporary sculpture is carved in honour of the Wolf, his song and his teachings.

The Wolf is regarded as a teacher, his shy ways not revealing his knowledge.  It is said that a Wolf will show himself to Mankind when a lesson is to be learned, but what the lesson is, is not disclosed until the lesson is learned.

Carved on the Six Nations Confederacy of the Grand, proudly made in Canada.

Yoh

Gah Gweni Yoh, a member of the Snipe Clan within the Seneca Nation of the Six Nations Confederacy, has been passionate about carving from a young age. Influenced by the traditional teachings and stories of the Elders, Gah's sculptures are a reflection of these age-old narratives.

His contemporary works often celebrate elements of nature, such as the Bear, symbolizing both strength and tranquility. The Bear is esteemed for its quiet, unassuming power and traditional role as the "Keeper of the Medicines," representing the belief that safeguarding medicinal practices ensures the well-being of the people.
